Miami is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Miami follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If you want to go into a mental health facility already struggling and somehow leave feeling even more frustrated, stressed, and unheard, then come to Banyan. My experience was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a mental health facility. There were numerous fights that broke out, and there were times when it felt like not a single tech could be found when things were escalating. For a facility that is supposed to prioritize patient safety, that was incredibly concerning. The doctor was another major disappointment. From my experience, it felt like the doctor didn’t actually care to talk to patients or understand their needs. Patients would try to express concerns, and it often felt like everyone’s needs were simply ignored. Communication and compassion should be the bare minimum in a mental health facility. The environment often felt chaotic, poorly supervised, and stressful. When people are already vulnerable, the last thing they need is to feel like nobody is listening or paying attention. I will say that Sergio, Georgina, the night staff, Natacha, and Yailin were the only people who truly stood out to me in a positive way. They treated me with kindness, r

I've been waiting two hours for my appointment. Still waiting. Clinic is depressing. Did my intake where they did standard screen for depression and the employee wouldn't even look me in the eyes when asking if I was considering hurting myself, etc. Poorly run place. I won't come back.

If I could give a negative 100 stars I would. The staff should not be doing this kind of work they are mean and ill equipped to handle any kind of mental health/ substance abuse cases. The tech staff and nurses are mean, some of them don’t or refuse to speak English, and the conditions are very very unsanitary. There were piles of poop and pee, and they would sweep and mop the inside but not the outside where the human feces was so it just got tracked inside all over again, they would just throw some fabulouso on the floor and wipe it up and call it a day. The windows are dirty and covered in dust and finger prints. The food gave me food poisoning, they served me expired food/ drinks. I got milk that was sour and out of date. This place is like the worst possible place you can go when you are in a mental health crisis, it is comparable to an insane asylum, or a detention center. This facility needs to be shut down. They don’t care for their patients. The staff treats the patients like they are animals. It’s was so horrible and the worst thing I have ever had to suffer through, I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy.
